Half Moon Bay Resort Cairns, Cairns

I had a wonderful stay at Half Moon Bay Resort, where I enjoyed clean and comfortable accommodations along with excellent facilities like a great pool and BBQ area. The hosts were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making my family's experience even better. However, we did encounter a noisy start due to planes flying overhead, which was a bit disappointing at first.

I had a very pleasant stay at the apartments, which featured a lovely pool and all the amenities we needed for a four-day getaway. While the property is situated under the flight path, I found noise to be a non-issue during my visit. On the downside, the area is quite remote, so a car is essential to explore, and the walk to the beach can be a bit daunting in the heat.

For a budget-friendly retreat, this resort is a real gem. The apartments are spacious and well-maintained, providing everything you need for a pleasant stay. The service from Ellen and Rick was impressive and truly made our experience special. However, the location is a bit remote, and getting to Cairns city takes some time, which might not suit everyone.

We had a fantastic week at the resort, appreciating its cleanliness and tranquility. The managers, Carole and Terry, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Though there was a need for a car to explore the area effectively, we found the overall value exceptional, especially considering the immaculate condition of the place.
